Google Co-Op Program Achievements by the Stone Temple Consulting Team:
Stone Temple Consulting has had extensive involvement with the Google Co-Op program from its initial launch in May. We aggressively pursued the program, and fast achieved recognition as a leader in this arena.
In September of 2006 we had the privilege of visiting the Googleplex to spend a day reviewing the Custom Search Engine program, and providing our feedback, prior to its launch on October 24, 2006. We were also allowed to participate in the program as launch partners, and to have Custom Search Engines ready on Google's launch day.
Here is a tangible list of our accomplishments in the Google Co-Op program:
- Stone Temple Consulting (STC) was selected by Google as a Launch Partner for the CSE announcement. STC has developed a Custom Search Engine for the SEO community that can be seen on the pages of this site.
- Stone Temple Consulting has a Subscribed Links feed file that is in the Google directory. No other SEO firm is listed in the Google directory.
- John Biundo of STC developed a Firefox plug-in for Google Co-op that simplifies the Annotation of web sites.
- Eric is also a founder of Moving Traffic, the publisher of CityTownInfo (CTI). CTI was also selected by Google as a Launch Partner for the CSE announcement.
- CTI's Subscribed Links feed file is a Google Coop Featured Example.
- Moving Traffic also publishes CustomSearchGuide.com (CSG), a directory of CSEs. This site was launched by Moving Traffic on Google's CSE launch day.
- Google links directly to Eric's article titled Creating Quality Custom Search Engines from the Google Coop site.
