The final report is going to rock.December 10, 2006: Matt Cutts 2006 Search Blog Awards
This is the kind of data you can use to make a smart decision not only about which analytics providers to choose, but about how to interpret data when switching from one to another and how to interpret competitive data or data provided by a firm before a sale or partnership offer. It's simply invaluable.
Go read the report, then salivate with me for the final version. It feels so good not to be the only one obsessed with statistics and accuracy :)

Education-Online-Search.com
Eric Enge of STC is co-founder of a company known as Optimized Internet Corporation (OIC). OIC has focused its major efforts on web sites that provide extensive information on education and careers. The flagship site of this effort is education-online-search.com (EOS). The site was launched in July of 2003. Eric has been responsible for site's search engine optimization and search engine marketing.
The business model for the site is based on providing new student leads (prospects) to post secondary and adult vocational schools. Potential students search for information on subjects ranging from ultrasound schools, to cosmetology schools, to PHds in psychology. Once they find the information in the search engine, they click through to EOS. About 1/3 of these users click through to a form to request information from a specific school on EOS. Once the user fills out a form, the information is sent to the school as a lead. EOS generates more than 500 leads for schools on a daily basis and is one of the leaders in this market space.

"Stone Temple Consulting (STC) was engaged by us to increase our search engine traffic. Their initial recommendations have increased our search volume by 419%, and we are confident of their ability to further scale that traffic. In addition, they have played a significant role in increasing the overall understanding of SEO in our organization. Working with a large organization like Ziff Davis can be frustrating, yet STC has been patient in the pursuit of helping the organization as a whole understand where we need to go, and with great success. We are committed to working with STC as our SEO partner on an ongoing basis."
Jesse Watkins-Gibbs, Marketing Manager, Logigear Corporation

Since they got involved, our organic traffic has seen steady and consistent growth. Every single step they took, and each recommendation was explained to us in clear logical terms. They demystified the process for us, and have helped us grow our business. We are continuing our engagement of STC for the long term."
